O-week is steadily approaching! So I’m brushing up on the fundamentals COLOUR THEORY!

The thing I found most interesting is that the traditional colour wheel, red, blue, and yellow, will not make bright purple; instead, you need Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow to get more vibrant hues.

Now, Cookie, you might say, you’re an artist, how did you not know basic colour theory before today? And to that I say Poo!

It’s always been put in the too-hard basket, and inadvertently ive made things a lot harder for myself through years of trial and error in painting classes because of it. Don’t be like Cookie guys. Learn at LEAST the fundamentals below and things will make a lot more sense.
